Broken Memory
Broken Memory
This project explores memory, symbolism, and visual decay through a bold, monochrome graphic composition. A central emblem — combining a key, wings, and abstract form — acts as a metaphor for access, loss, and transformation.
The distressed background texture and horizontal noise suggest erosion over time, referencing how memories fragment, distort, and lose clarity. Strong contrast and simplified shapes give the piece a graphic, almost poster-like presence, while subtle imperfections prevent it from feeling static or resolved.
Rather than illustrating a literal narrative, the work focuses on emotional residue, using symbol and texture to communicate absence, weight, and repetition.
