Reflected Value
Reflected Value
This project explores self-reflection, value, and perception through a stark, monochrome collage composition. A fragmented eye emerges from layered textures and metallic surfaces, suggesting observation that is distorted rather than clear.
The crumpled foil texture functions as both mirror and barrier, reflecting an unstable image of the self. Typography is used sparingly and deliberately, reinforcing the theme of questioning worth and identity in an environment shaped by surface, noise, and distortion.
By combining photographic elements with raw graphic treatment, the work examines how reflection can become unreliable — shaped as much by material and context as by the subject itself.
