Pulse Form
Pulse Form
Pulse Form explores the relationship between abstract geometry and motion as a visual language. The project centres around a sculptural, continuous form that feels drawn rather than modelled — almost like a frozen gesture suspended in space. Through subtle animation and lighting shifts, the form appears to pulse and breathe, giving a sense of rhythm and internal energy.
The visual style blends hand-drawn aesthetics with clean 3D rendering. Rough outlines and sketch-like edges contrast with smooth surfaces and controlled motion, creating a balance between precision and imperfection. The limited colour palette, with deep blacks and electric blue accents, keeps the focus on shape, flow, and movement rather than surface detail.
This project was created as an experimental piece, aimed at studying motion continuity, silhouette readability, and abstract storytelling without narrative elements. It works both as a still graphic composition and as a looping motion piece, suitable for digital exhibitions, branding visuals, or motion-led identity systems.
