    Restrained Comfort

This project presents an experimental industrial lounge chair designed and visualised entirely in 3D. The concept explores the balance between comfort and restraint, combining soft leather upholstery with rigid metal framing and chain supports.

The chair’s form is intentionally minimal yet expressive. Smooth, cushioned surfaces contrast with exposed structural elements, creating visual tension between softness and strength. Wooden armrests introduce warmth and tactility, breaking the otherwise industrial material palette.

Lighting and composition were carefully developed to emphasise material realism, surface texture, and form. Multiple camera angles and close-ups highlight construction details, while the neutral studio environment keeps focus on the object itself.

In addition to static renders, the project includes motion and animation studies to showcase volume, proportions, and spatial presence. The result is a conceptual product visualisation that sits between functional design and sculptural object.
